Notes:

Training Secretary: From last year’s AGM Agenda ‘While we created this post to replace the former one of County Coach, we have been unsuccessful so far in finding a person willing to take it on. It is suggested that it is not particularly onerous and need not involve any more than initiating some events within the County of Devon, and taking care of their publicity in conjunction with other training organised by our clubs (eg Plymouth are thinking of a Grade 1 Epee Coaches Course for October half term) and those of the SW Region.’ No one came forward to able on this post. As said it is not particularly onerous – just a matter of co-ordinating a few events and giving publicity. Should we add it to the work of the Hon Sec?

Competition Secretary: Alex Scott will be bringing forward some ideas on how this task can be shared with a small group: the Competition Secretary being in overall control of the events, but particular events being delegated to others (suitably trained) to run on the day.
