Exeter Fencing Open 2025, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June. Foil, Epee and Sabre

Exeter Open 2025

University of Exeter

Great Hall

Stocker Road

Exeter

Devon

EX4 4PY

Event Information:

This is a six category senior open. This event will give senior national ranking

points.

For those in the South West, this event will also give regional ranking points.

Competition Format:

  • One or two rounds of poules followed by direct eliminations (the number of

  • rounds will depend on numbers on the day).

  • No cut after poules, all fencers progress on to DEs.

  • No fight-off for third place.

Additionally, we hope to have space for some optional extra fencing after the

standard open event for those who are interested. The format for this will be

decided on the day; for example, it could be a plate competition for those

knocked out in the first couple of rounds, or a blank poule sheet for some

fun fencing. The aim of this is to utilise the space we have to offer as much

extra fencing opportunities as we can to those who would like it.
