Meeting Times Junior session 7.00 to 8.00 p.m. Adult session 8.15 to 9.30 p.m. First session is free to visitors wishing to give the sport a try and all equipment is provided. |
| The club has been established since 1996 and meets on Monday night in the Gymnasium at Okehampton Community College, Mill Road, Okehampton. |
| The
Okehampton Coaches are David Owen, Danny Moore and Paul Vallance.
We fence all three weapons; have monthly Club Competitions at foil and epee for both Adults and Juniors. We have a good mixture of beginners and experienced fencers. Junior attendance numbers currently stand at 19 and Adult fencers at 15. There is a good social side to the club with events staged throughout the year. We attend Sports Week events in the summer at Okehampton, where we put on displays and offer fencing to the public; participate at village fetes and playschemes when requested and fence twice a year in the open air at two historic sites in the county.. |
