'Dennis Wilcocks Celebration Dinner'

You may already be aware that our good friend and long time member of Plymouth Fencing Club is to celebrate his 90th birthday in May of this year.

 For many reasons, including the fact that Dennis must now be among a small band of active sportsmen of his age, that he has generously given his time and energy to support fencing in Devon and other parts of the country and that he is a real example for all fencers to aspire to, we are planning to have a 'Dennis Wilcocks Celebration Dinner'.

 The dinner will be a held at Mount Edgcumbe Masonic Hall, Citadel Rd, Plymouth on 17th May 2008 (7.00pm for 7.30pm - Black tie optional). The cost will be approximately £18 per person, less if the event is as well supported as I expect.

 There will be a disco / entertainment after the meal.

 At this time I do not require any money but I do need to know if you will be attending ASAP as this will enable me to finalise some important details. Also, please forward this notice to anyone else any other fencers or friends you may be aware of who would wish to attend.
